Champions Board
Board members are selected to give the project a balance of desirable expertise and regional representation, including industry representatives, informal learning educators, gender equity experts, science and mathematics education representatives, and educational policy experts. The Board meets once per year at a central site, usually The Science House in Raleigh, and communicates extensively using various electronic means.
If you or a colleague are interested in representing your organization on the Board of Champions, please contact at The Science House.
The inaugural meeting of The Science House Girls Collaborative Champions Board took place on August 15, 2007. Watch the calendar for information about additional meetings as we gear up for the implementation of our initial mini-grants and solicit a second round of mini-grant applications.
