Susan Cippoletti
Susan Cippoletti is the National Project Manager for Challenge and Change/Girl Scouts in Rural Communities initiative at Girl Scouts of the USA. For the past five years, Ms. Cippoletti has been developing and funding leadership programs targeting underserved girls in rural America. Challenge and Change is a curriculum-driven program that trains girls to become local social entrepreneurs through intense leadership training, outreach, and mentoring as girls actualize their visions in real time projects.
Ms. Cippoletti also manages two National Science Foundation grants for Girl Scouts of the USA. Prior to joining Girl Scouts, Ms. Cippoletti spent ten years supervising and managing the family and community education departments of Liberty Science Center and The Children’s Museum of Manhattan. Her experiences range from program development, corporate sponsorships, staff training, and visitor evaluation. She earned her B.A. in cinema studies from Hunter College and M.A. in museum education from Seton Hall University.
