In high school, she was president of her local Technology Student Association chapter and vice president of the state organization. These leadership roles taught her how technology and leadership intertwine.

As an AnneMerie Donoghue Human Rights Fellow, Ms. Williams will work with homeless youth at the Pierce County Juvenile Court System. Her major interests in technology are learning about the relationship between technology, education, and human rights.
